Arcicóllar is a flat village with white or exposed brick façades, where the Mudejar church stands out for its surprising shapes, much older than those of most rural churches in Toledo. The area is made up of unirrigated land, where vineyards and olive groves predominate, often sharing the same plot of land, with occasional poplars and holm oaks.
The main source of income in the locality is the cultivation of vines. It is a town with an eminently winemaking tradition, so you can find several wineries where you can taste the wines of the land of Castile and D.O. Méntrida. Wine tourism is therefore one of the main attractions of the area.

What to see?
The parish church of Arcicóllar is a noble building, located in the centre of the municipality. It is a rectangular church with three naves and a semicircular presbytery. The apse is masked by two later buildings. Two chapels are located on either side of it. The tower is located at the foot of the central nave. The most outstanding feature of the central nave is a large Mudejar coffered ceiling with lacemaking decoration, covered with par and octagonal knuckles. The second important element of the church is the chapel of the Annunciation, located at the head of the epistle aisle. The altarpiece of the main altar is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and is a later work. The tower is rectangular in plan and features an arch, now closed on the north side, which is one of the oldest elements of the whole building.
