It is considered an enclave where diverse cultures have settled. The architectural elements that stand out here are the windmills and the castle; the windmills were built in the first half of the XIX century twelve of the thirteen it once had are still preserved today. Their names are (from north to south): Bolero, Mambrino, Sancho, Mochilas, Vista Alegre, Cardeño, Alcancia, Chispas, Caballero del Verde Gabán, Rucio, Espartero and Clavileño.
The castle was a fortress from the XI century with enlargements and reconstructions from the XII and XIII, century built in masonry with lime mortar, with a central core or fortress, where the housing complex is located, surrounded by a walled enclosure.
