El Borril Farm

The "El Borril" estate is an environmental facility belonging to the Toledo Provincial Council and covers an area of 450 hectares. It was declared a wildlife refuge in 2011. At El Borril, environmental education, environmental conservation and research work is carried out.

The farm has the nature classroom "El Borril", in which an educational programme related to the Mediterranean bush is developed, which is mainly aimed at primary and secondary school students in the province of Toledo, as well as associations and other groups. It can also be visited by the general public.

The classroom is managed by the Environment and Rural World Service of the Diputación de Toledo and belongs to the network of Environmental Education Facilities of Castilla-La Mancha.

The environmental equipment has an experienced team of environmental educators and monitors with the appropriate knowledge and resources to ensure that the contents worked on are adapted to each target group and to make the stay in the classroom an unforgettable outdoor learning experience.
