You can enjoy a walk among unique vegetation, with halophilic species, capable of living in saline soils. The albardín, a plant similar to esparto grass, forms large expanses, adding to the attractiveness of the shrub formations.

It is a small wooded valley crossed by a stream that flows into the river Gévalo, protected for its valuable variety of endangered species of flora and fauna, as well as for its scenic interest, in which the presence of several waterfalls stands out.

Located within the municipality that gives it its name, and on the flood plain formed by the Madre stream. The area is located on loamy-gypsum soils, which give the soils in the area a clayey and more or less saline character, with a very unique vegetation.

It lies on two depressions resulting from the small flood plain of the saline Melgar stream. The area has a great botanical richness, and practically all the halophilic communities and species characteristic of halophilic ecosystems are represented here.
