A ROUTE TO DISCOVER THE NATURAL AND SCENIC RICHNESS OF THE SIERRA DE SAN VICENTE
This route runs through an environment that stands out for its natural wealth, and among it, for its numerous streams. The San Vicente mountain range is characterised by its rich landscape and its great biodiversity. Its vegetation is exceptional in its contrast with the great plains of La Mancha. Within a few kilometres, variations in temperature, rainfall and orientation generate very heterogeneous changes, resulting in a wide variety of plant species and formations. Furthermore, its geology and the proximity of watercourses make species such as ash groves, willow groves, alder groves and elm groves grow. In the transition between the plateaus and the Central system to which the San Vicente mountain range belongs, we can also find holm oak groves -located on the southern slopes-, wild pear trees and junipers.
ADENTRARSE EN LA SIERRA DE SAN VICENTE PERMITIRÁ AL VISITANTE REFRESCARSE EN ENTORNOS FLUVIALES DE GRAN BELLEZA

From the neighbourhood, a pleasant walk through meadows, stone walls and lush vegetation awaits us. Once next to the Tiétar, the river offers us a romantic walk along its ever-changing banks, under the majestic figure of the Sierra de Gredos.
