El Chorro. Rocigalgo

Location: Los Navalucillos. Region of La Jara.

Difficulty: Simple Altitude from 710 to 1,000 metres.

• It takes about 5 hours to complete the route.
• Recommended for any time of the year. In summer it is advisable to start the walk early in the morning.
• Leaving Las Becerras, take the forest track that leads to the "Sierra Fría", along the valley. We cross cultivated fields and extensive areas of rockrose (cistus ladanifer) on a gentle ascent that allows us to appreciate, from a distance, the deep ravine through which the Chorro stream flows. After about 3.5 km there is a chain that prevents cars from passing, at which point the track meets the Chorro stream.
