This hamlet arose as an old farm of Robledo del Mazo around 1750. Geographically, the district is of great interest due to its great natural beauty and the canchales that predominate in the area. The valley of the river Gévalo has different hiking routes where you can enjoy the pleasant scenery.

The predominant flora in this area is cork oak, holm oak, chestnut trees and, of course, oak, although the most predominant species in the landscape is rockrose. The dominant fauna in this area are deer, roe deer and wild boar. It is important to highlight big game hunting as one of the activities carried out in its geographical area.
