THE PROVINCIAL COUNCIL WAS PRESENT FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH ITS OWN STAND AT THIS INTERNATIONAL BENCHMARK EVENT FOR THE OLIVE OIL SECTOR.
The President of the Toledo Provincial Council, Concepción Cedillo, headed the provincial delegation that took part today in the opening of the World Olive Oil Exhibition in Madrid, where she highlighted the key role played by olive oil in the economy, culture and identity of our province. A fair to highlight the importance of supporting local producers, promoting innovation, sustainability and the internationalisation of the sector, which is precisely the reason that has led the Diputación to participate in this event.
THE LARGEST INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE DEDICATED TO OLIVE OIL. THIS LIQUID GOLD THAT REPRESENTS NOT ONLY GASTRONOMIC EXCELLENCE, BUT ALSO THE EFFORT, DEDICATION AND DEEP-ROOTEDNESS OF OUR FARMERS TO THE LAND.
With this presence we want to highlight the importance of the olive sector in the provincial economy and show the position of the provincial institution, which with conviction and firmness, continues to defend the products of our province, our farmers and our cooperatives, because behind every drop of EVOO there are generations of work, sacrifice and passion for the countryside.
OLIVE OIL TOURISM AS A NICHE MARKET TO ATTRACT NEW TOURISTS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN EXPERIENCES AND SENSATIONS WITH DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN.
With its presence at the World Olive Oil Exhibition, the Diputación de Toledo reinforces its support for this strategic sector. At this event, the provincial delegation held meetings with experts, companies and organisations from the sector, exploring new avenues of collaboration and synergies to strengthen the province’s position as a benchmark in the production of quality olive oil and consolidating the take-off of a type of tourism based on the enjoyment of the sensations offered by our primary sector.
THE TOLEDO DEPUTATION HAS COUNTED ON THE PRESENCE OF THE FAMOUS CHEF TALAVERANOCARLOS MALDONADO IN THIS FAIR, THE FINISHING TOUCH TO THE PRESENCE OF THE TOLEDO DEPUTATION IN THESE DAYS.
