In 1996 a group of neighbors of Villanueva de Bogas gathered to represent a sacramental play about the Birth of Christ. As a result of this representation, this group had the illusion of performing a dramatization of The Passion of Christ.
A RELIGIOUS FESTIVAL TO UNITE ALL VILLANUEVA’S NEIGHBORS IN A SPECTACULAR DRAMATIZATION OF THE PASSION OF CHRIST
The result of all these years of history is a great theatrical representation of two and a half hours that has managed to gather thousands of people in each edition. Currently more than one hundred people on stage make La Pasión possible, all of them belonging to the Cultural Association “Jiménez de Rada”, who build and set their theater in the sports courts of the town, in Carpa Climatizada.
