This small village is a hamlet of Los Navalucillos. The name Valdeazores comes from the valley of the goshawks, birds of prey that abounded in this area at that time. It is located between the valleys and mountains of the Montes de Toledo, more specifically in the Valdeazores valley, which gives its name to the village.

The economy is based on the extraction of cork from cork oak trees, agriculture, livestock, beekeeping and hunting, as the area is home to an abundance of game species such as roe deer, deer and wild boar.

The vegetation in the valleys is of the type known as Mediterranean scrubland, consisting mainly of cork oaks, strawberry trees and rockrose. The natural environment is home to a great wealth of landscapes, fauna and botany. Here you will find a multitude of trails and routes as well as various active tourism activities to complement your stay in the region.

We recommend a visit to the Cabañeros National Park where you can visit the interpretation centres and go on guided tours to see the local flora and fauna.
